Athlete Roseanna shows her ‘Star’ quality at awards
At the recent Irish Athletics Juvenile Star Awards in Tullamore, Ballymena Academy pupil Roseanna McGuckian (above) was awarded a Special Award in recognition for her achievements at the European Youth Olympics.
Roseanna was awarded a Tipperary Crystal bowl for her 200m bronze medal at the major championships that took place in the Netherlands in July last year.
She was also awarded along with her team mates who took the Gold in the 4x100m relay,breaking the Irish Youth record.

Hide AdRoseanna was delighted to receive such an award and to be recognised as the only Irish female to win two medals at this competition.
Roseanna is currently training hard and has set her sights on improving on the brilliant season she had last year by breaking more records and aiming to be selected for more International competitions.
