The popular event will start and finish at The Cloughan, home of Ballyclare Rugby Club. The Harriers are delighted that Charles Hurst Renault, Mallusk, is once again the main race sponsor, and will provide a lead car for the 10k runners.

Many local businesses are also sponsoring the event, providing assistance with winners prizes, spot prizes, goodie bag contents, and post-race bananas. The Harriers would like to thank all the sponsors for their generosity.

Online registration is open and while all finishers will receive a medal, the first 400 entries will also receive a technical race T-shirt. For more information, please visit the club’s website, www.countyantrimharriers.co.uk or the race Facebook page.

Meanwhile, the versatile Helen Baird and Rebecca Edmondson competed in the Ballymoney Cycling Club Triathlon at the weekend.

The ladies, along with 90 other athletes, completed a 250m swim, a 10-mile cycle and a two-mile run. Both performed well and enjoyed the challenge.
