ATHLETICS: East Antrim Harriers' weekly update
In a week of sunny weather the athletes of East Antrim Harriers were well represented in local races. On Wednesday (June 1) three athletes took part in the Ballymena 5 mile race where Gary Davison claimed second in the Vet 50+ category in 29:43 (31st overall). Alan McCullough was next to break the tape in 35:31 (89th), followed by Tim Khanna in 37:55 (136th).
At Sunday’s Walled City Marathon, Chris Collins ran well to complete the course in 3:13:33, placing him inside the top 50 in a field of over 1,200 runners.
