Athletics: Races are approaching fast

With race T-Shirts for the first 150 entrants guaranteed, there’s no time to lose so get on your keyboard right away!

On the day entries will still be accepted at Gransha up to 7.00 p.m. on the night but it’s best to get on board early for what is a well established and very popular 10K run.

And it’s a similar story for the 34th staging of the Waterside Half Marathon over a brand new course on Sunday, September 6th.

The race organisers reports a steady flow of entries and this week urged all local prospective entrants to sign up as soon as possible.

“Our closing date is August 21st, not too far away now and we do not want to disappoint anyone so please get online or call in to the Foyle Arena and submit your entry,” said a spokesperson.
