Only a few weeks now to the 10 miler and with a radically improved course this year it should provide an excellent early outing, not only for the June 5th Walled City Marathon, but also for the Larne Half Marathon on March 19th and the Omagh Half, a week later on March 26th.

Entries continue to come in and with the early closing date of Friday February 26th looming, a reminder that online entries can be made here.

The entry fee is £15-up to 26th February-and this by the way guarantees you a race t-shirt.

After that entries will still be accepted, including on the day at race headquarters in Ebrington Square but the price rises to £20 and race t-shirts will be subject to availability.

The course has been significantly revised, a loop into the flat Gransha Park grounds around 3 miles, replaces the hilly section close to the previous finish and the new finish is now on the running track in St Columbs Park, replicating the acclaimed 2015 Waterside Half Marathon finish.

Entries for the SSE Airtricity Walled City Marathon, on Sunday June 5th are still coming in but are expected to shut down in late March.
