Beginning this Saturday 7th February at 10am, and continuing for at least the next six weeks, the running club will host free weekly coaching sessions for boys and girls, of all abilities, aged 12-18.

The sessions, lasting about 45 minutes, will take place at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena and will be led by Club Head Coach, Sean Donnelly.

Running can help you meet your weekly muscle and bone-strengthening requirements and it is a great way to relax, have fun and meet new friends.

Running improves cardiovascular health, maintains a healthy weight, improves bone health, improves self-confidence and develops new social skills.

If you are a parent or carer, feel free to drop your child off or stay and watch if you want. It will be free to attend all sessions with no obligation to become a club member.

However, if your child finds that they enjoy running as a sport, then they can become a junior club member for the low cost of just £15 per year.
