ATHLETICS: Titanic effort from Barn Runners

Nine Barn Runners members lined out at the annual Titanic 10k in Belfast on Sunday.

Everyone from the club came in under the hour mark and were all delighted with their achievement. All runners who completed the race received a commemorative medal.

Times for Barn Runners were as follows: Alan McMillan 39:16; Noel Latimer 44:21 (first time running the course and a personal best); Yvonne McIlree 47:02 (pb); Alan Adair 48:23 (pb); Karen Young 50: 56 (pb); Claire Gilmore 51:56 (first time at course and a pb); Janis Burnside 58:21. Janis is pregnant and was supported round the course by partner Alastair Fullerton (also 58:21); Diane Hylands 59:28.
