Awards presentations for Magherafelt Sky Blues

The club held its end of season dinner and presentation of awards last Saturday night in The Terrace Hotel, Magherafelt.

More than 160 people attended the youth and senior dinners.

Special guests were Irish League legend Alfie Stewart and his son the current Ballymena United captain Aaron Stewart.

Two U12 five-a-side teams attended a tournament at Coleraine Showgrounds, following a kind invite from Coleraine Academy.

The tournament saw teams from Ballymena United, Ballymoney, Oxford, and Coleraine attend.

A good day was had by all and the A team narrowly lost 3-2 in the final of the plate final.

Mini soccer

The mini soccer centre continues this Saturday morning at Spires Park from 10am to 11am (2 per child) for P4 - P7 children.

AGM

The Sky Blues AGM is on Monday, June 21, in The Terrace Hotel at 8pm.
