Awards time for Grammar rugby boys

Carrickfergus Grammar School held their annual awards dinner for the junior rugby teams in Carrickfergus Golf Club recently and there was a fantastic turnout to celebrate the achievements of the teams and players.

Mr Kennedy, teacher in charge of rugby at the school, thanked all the staff and external coaches for their help this year but special mention was justifiably reserved for the boys who turn out at training twice a week and play on a Saturday.

The awards were presented by Mr Mulvenna, school principal, and he too thanked the boys and coaches for their efforts.
