Ballinderry completed the first half of the Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League, Section A, with a 17 shots home win and six points against Soldierstown.

David McLorn started with three singles but Paul Reid was 5-3 up at the sixth and added four at the eighth to lead 9-5 before dropping a single.

A three at the fourth gave Eddie Marsden a 5-1 lead and 8-2 at the seventh when John Mackey lifted a single. One at the last end gave Ballinderry a six shots win.

At the third Jim Johnston was 4-1 up but Keith Morrison took a 5-4 lead at the fifth and it was 6-6 with an end left when Soldierstown got the winning single.

A second single at the fourth meant William Johnston was 2-3 down and Raymond Stubbs replied with a four and four singles to win by nine shots.
