Ballinderry remain top of Section A with another six hit

BALLINDERRY 48 (6) KILLANEY 23 (1)

Ballinderry remained top of Section A of the Kennedy Fuels League when they took six points from a 25 shots home win over Killaney.

A three helped Eddie Patterson to a 9-3 lead at the fifth and although Keith Morrison, who earlier had lifted a three came back with two doubles Killaney went on to win by four shots.

A five helped Raymond Stubbs to a 7-1 lead at the fourth and after Roy Copes lifted a double Ballinderry added a three to win by eight shots.

At the fifth John Campbell was 5-2 ahead but Paul Reid finished with one, four, four, three to won by nine shots.

At the third Michael Foreman was 3-5 down and Eddie Marsden, who had started with a five added four at the fourth before winning the remaining ends to get home by 12 shots.
