JOHN Gray’s St Matthew’s Broomhedge rink scored a ‘hot shot’ during the 11 shots win at St Colman’s Lambeg.

The rink, K. Skelton, T. Leathem, L. Garrett and Gray recorded the eight at the first end, but Lawrence Long was back to 7-11 with two ends left and his one, two finish just fell a shot short.

In the other second half game Frank Agnew led 6-2 at the fifth and 9-3 with an end left at which Billy Hobson lifted a four.

Back to the start and Billy Briggs was 4-2 ahead at the fourth. Peter Rea added a single but Broomhedge lifted two threes to win by ten shots.
