Ballindrait win NW Badminton League Division One accolade
The annual North West Badminton League finals were recently held at the new centre in Artigarvin.
The final results of Division 1 and 2 are as follows: Divison One - Ballindrait 48 points; Artigarvin 42 points; Letterkenny 44 points; Burt 35 points; Foyle 11 points. Division Two - Burt 41 points; Foyle 38 points; Hillhead 22 points; Artigarvin 2 points.
The Chairman Allan Young would like to thank secretary David McKeague, league secretary Ross Thompson, treasurer Claire Magee and committee members Jim Thompson, Bryan Huey and John McCarter for all their support throughout the year. A special word of thanks to Mr & Mrs John McCarter, the centre managers, for all their help over the number of years.
The Division One winners were Josh McMullan, Ian MacBeth, Alan MacBeth, Vincent DeVenny, Lee Hannigan, Ryan Macbeth and Alan Roulston.
