Ballintoy to host boxing tournament
BALLYMONEY-based Scorpion Boxing Club will be hosting their final show of the season at the Carrick-a-Rede Hotel in Ballintoy on Friday 10th May. Doors will open at 7.30pm and admission is £6 payable at the door.
The local club will be competing against an Ulster Select squad and all proceeds made will be used in updateing training facillities at their Ballymoney Club over the summer period. Scorpion ABC hope that local boxing fans will turn out to support their local club on what promises to be a great night’s entertainment with local 23-year-old 67kilo Antrim Champion Paul Donnelly topping the bill.
With Seamus McAlister and his brothers Brian, Martin and Keelan, Micheal McAlister, Ryan Wallace and Micheal Coyles all on the bill it will be a big occasion.
