Ballymena pair win Burnside Tournament

Section play was held over four evenings with eight pairs qualifying for finals night.

S Colvin and A Duncan of Mossley and R Fleming and B McGrath from Ballymena emerged as winners in the semi-finals with the latter going on to win the title.

G Connelly thanked the Session for the use of the church hall, the competitors who made the tournament such a success, sponsors Armstrong and Co, V&H Wright, MBS Motor Homes, Kelly’s Fuel, Supervalu, Lindsay’s Clothing, Hugh Wade and Son, Coleraine Plant Hire and Coleraine Van Hire.

He also thanked the organisers, helpers and members of the club for their assistance and support throughout the week.

The prizes were then presented to the winners, runners-up and section winners.
