The Ballymena side won all matches apart from their final match, where they drew 3-3 against Bangor.

The boys had an opportunity to meet with Paddy Jackson, Craig Gilroy and Sparky the Bear at the end of the festival.

Under 7 is foundation level in rugby consisting of non-contact touch rugby. The Ballymena U7 squad this season has developed strongly, one of the largest in Northern Ireland, with 35 children supported by 11 coaches.

Coach: Roger Alexander said: “Mini rugby enhances individuals beyond just sporting ability and these life skills assist their youth development.

“We are fortunate to have such strong support by parents every week and a great
bunch of kids who are so enthusiastic about the game, even at this early stage,” added Roger.
