United 3, Banbridge 1: United started off strongly straight from the kick off and within only a few minutes were already a goal up with a good effort by Ben Wylie.

The Skies dominated possession throughout the first half creating several chances but were unable to make the most of them. However they finally did manage to break through and put away one of their chances, Josh Courtney with a neat finish.

The second half changed and saw Banbridge fighting back with possession and their efforts were finally rewarded with a good goal.

This spurred Ballymena on to take back the majority of possession and create some late chances. A few minutes from time Josh Courtney put away his second goal of the match.

UNDER-11

United 11, Hillsborough 0: The under 11s clicked to produce their best performance of the season in this comprehensive win.

Lee O'Brien sent them on their way early on and soon rifled in from an angle to make it two.

Strike partner Jack Millar soon got in on the act, as did right back Jack O'Mahony who has returned to his best form in recent weeks.

The boys were playing the passing game they are capable of and Andrew Heaney was laid off to chip in making it five.O'Brien again and Millar scored before a flowing move ended with debutant Lorenzo Dawkins firing in brilliantly for the goal of the game.

Leon Carly nipped in to add to the tally before O'Mahony added his second as United rang the changes.

They continued to show good form however and Jamie Houstan raced through to finish well to round things off.

United 0, Hillsborough 3: A poor display from Ballymena against a Hillsborough team one place above them in the league saw them go down 3-0.

Hillsborough went ahead after just 3 minutes. Shane Gibson did well to save a driven shoot but with no protection from his back four could do nothing to stop the second effort.

Ballymena continued to play poorly and found themselves 2-0 down at half time.

The Sky Blues improved slightly after the break played well in spells. Despite the improved effort Ballymena conceded again MOM - Michael Hagan.
