Ballymoney High defeat Dalriada in derby game

ON Tuesday 12th February, Dalriada U-14 B played against Ballymoney High School. The match took place at Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre’s Astroturf, and the final score was 1-0 to Ballymoney High.

The one goal was scored by Ballymoney High’s Erin Millar in the final few minutes after an equal game and fantastic plays from both sides.

Dalriada’s forwards Katherine Anderson, Rachel Hunter and Jessie Gray played well and had many close goal chances, just losing out.

The midfielders all played defence and attacking well with Rachel McConaghie making some good tackles. Backs Beth Neely, Hannah McCurdy and Jade Houston all played brilliantly, with back up from sweeper and captain Annie McIlhatton and goalie Lois Barr.
