BALLMONEY IV 38

Ballymoney IV travelled the short distance to Limepark to take on neighbours and derby rivals Armoy, in what was the first league match of the new season for both teams.

Conditions were dry with a moderate breeze blowing down the pitch, as Ballymoney won the toss and decided to play against the wind in the first half.

Jerome McAllister converting two tries, along with 3 penalties

After the game, team captain John Waide commented, “This was a good result for the fourths and and nice to get the season up and running with an away win. We had a number of guys not available today however the 18 players in the squad all performed very well.”
