From the start Ballymoney held possession by the midfielders Chloe McConaghie and Jodie McGrath which created opportunities for great runs from Rebecca Turton on the left and from Johanne McAllister on the right. Ballymoney created some good chances and a deflection by Natasha Walker from Johanne McAlister’s pass put Ballymoney 1-0 up which ended the first half.

Throughout the second half the Ballymoney forward Rebecca Turton, Johanne McAllister and Hollie Fleming had many chances to score, and a break from Ballymoney’s forward Rebecca Turton who had a one-on-one with the Dungannon’s goal keeper made the score 2-0. With more pressure on Dungannon’s defence the Ballymoney side won a penalty corner, which was slipped left to Chloe McConaghie by Ciara McGuigan which increased the score to 3-0. During the final minute Ballymoney was on the break and with a slip pass from Rebecca Turton to Ciara McGuigan on the right post ended the match 4-0 to Ballymoney.
