Club founder and chairman Maurice McAllister along with Youth Team mentors and coaches Jimmy Davidson, Bryan McKinney, Stevie McAllister, Stuart Laverty, Ryan Patton, Devon McIlwaine and team captain Jason Taggart will be on hand to take pre planned runs, training sessions, circuits, tactics and the basics of riding and racing.

Each week a challenge is set and the riders can use this as an indication and pointer for their progression.

Saturday saw them in the Long Mountain getting used to riding in the low mountain roads, this will lead to progression onto Orra, Gelnarriff and Bishops Road, as well as the essential flat road speed work.

This programme has come from the young peoples sessions that Joan Trengove and Rhona Laverty started over the past two years and the natural progression for those want to race or look at competitive events was to get into the Mentoring Programme and start off on the right foot with the proper advise.
