Aaron Swan was the winner at the Ballymena club race with Ras team mate Ryan Bankhead in 4th place. The Bann Valley TT saw both youth and senior riders in action, Dean McElfatrick, John McElderry, Davy McAvoy, Janine Gordon, Claire McAvoy, Eddie Hampton and the fastest on the night Uel Cunningham.

The Mid Ulster GP at Cookstown

BCC Biesty’s Centra had 17 riders in action at the Sunday races with the Youth riders getting into the podium positions, Breandan Flannagan 2nd, Andrew Allen 4th in the Under 15/16 race along with team mates Andrew Robinson and Jake Murray. In the Under 13/13 race again it was Rowan Montgomery 2nd with Liam McAuley 4th. In the Under 12’s Meabh Flannagan was 4th and Clark Logan 5th. In the senior A4 race despite a serious crash at the finish the BCC riders Aaron Dickie, Marshall Craig and the ever attacking George Peden got hope safely despite a few scratches. Not so lucky was BCC junior Robbie Doherty who travelled to Navan to compete in the Waller Cup and was involved in a crash on the second lap, this was unfortunate for the fast improving Ballymoney lad. In the senior A race Aaron Swan was 10th just ahead of strong riding team mate Ryan Bankhead in 11th...bad luck on the day for other BCC rider Steven McAllister who had been away in a 9 man break from lap 2 of the 6, they were at 2mins ahead of the field going into the final lap when McAllister stripped the freewheel and had to retire.

All round this was another successful weekend and thank you to everyone for the help and support.
