Balmoral hosts second round of competition

SATURDAY May 16 saw the second round of Mossvale's Showjumper of the Year 2010 competition, very kindly sponsored by Bluechip and The Concept Group.

Balmoral was the venue, thanks to Raymond, Shirley and Nigel Jess. There was a great turnout and thanks to all who attended.

The next qualifier will be on Saturday June 12, starting at 12 noon at Mossvale Equestrian Centre in Dromara.

Also starting on Tuesday June 15 at 7.30pm is Mossvale’s summer showjumping league (open to all). Riders must compete four out the five nights to qualify for the final on July 20,

Prizes include a headcollar and rug for first place with prizes to sixth place. The same heights apply as the SJ of the year. The competition will be held on grass at Mossvale, Dromara.

Further dates for your diary - Tuesday 15th, 22nd and 29th June; 6th and 15th July and the final on July 20.

Also on June 15 and July 6 the club is having a dressage training show. You can pre-enter the dressage by contacting Janice on 07835112825. Entries are 7 per class.

Anyone who has already qualified for The Showjumper of the Year should please return your final entry form ASAP as the final is on August 15 at Balmoral.
