Balmoral in Shield lead

BALMORAL are in the lead before the final round of games are played this Friday night in the Alwood Shield.

Results from third round games played last Friday night in Banbridge were:

Banbridge 8(0) Lisnagarvey 15(3); Banbridge 9(0) Lurgan 15(3); Banbridge 8(0) Portadown 24(3); Banbridge 13(3) Balmoral 10(1).

Results from fourth round games played at Lisnagarvey on Monday night were:

Lisnagarvey 12(1) Lurgan 15(3); Lisnagarvey 15(3) Portadown 11(1); Lisnagarvey 15(3) Balmoral 9(0); Lisnagarvey 11(2) Banbridge 11(2).

After those games Balmoral lead the league table with 15 points from seven games.

Lisnagarvey are second with 15 from seven, Portadown are next with 11 from seven and Banbridge are fourth with ten from seven.

Lurgan are bottom with six points but they have only played four games.

The final round of games will be played in Lurgan Park green this Friday evening starting at 6pm.
