Banbridge club holds AGM and Christmas Breakfast Run

WITH the club having recently held its AGM, there have been a few changes within the club’s structure and committee, all with the aim of trying to keep the club as successful in the forthcoming year as it had been in the previous.

I am sure all club members will welcome the new faces to the club committee and give them their full support in progression of such a well-recognised and renowned club in the local community of cycling.

At this point the new committee would like to extend their gratitude to previous position holders for the fine steed they have created with their hard works and endeavours of the past few years .

Over the weekend past Banbridge CC held their annual Christmas Breakfast Run. In total 25 club members headed off from the Coach Car Park with only the taste of a well-cooked breakfast on their minds.

The peloton headed off at a casual pace trying to avoid the few patches of black ice still present at the at time of the morning to one of their favourite haunts throughout the year in Warrenpoint. The banter and chat was in full flow as is the norm and as they reached their destination with an appetite for sausage beacon and egg, we were greeted as usual with brimming smiles and excellent service from the staff.

The members of Banbridge CC would like to wish the owners and staff at Diamonds Warrenpoint a sincere Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for their excellent service they provide the club all year round.

We would ask anyone thinking of joining a club at present or within the new year to consider Banbridge Cycling Club - you can check out what we are about and all the aspects of cycling the club caters for by looking up our website: www.banbridgecc.co.uk a great way to keep fit and get back in shape after the festive indulging.

Merry Christmas from all at Banbridge CC
