Banbridge to host town centre cycling on Friday night

As part of the province wide ‘SEAT Super 7’ series of town centre bicycle races, Banbridge Cycling Club will host a programme of races on Friday evening.

The races, hosted with the support of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, will attract many of the country’s top competitive cyclists and their support crews to Banbridge town.

The main race of the evening, forming the fifth round of the SEAT Super 7 series, will also be supported by a race for the local club level racing cyclists, ensuring there are plenty of local riders to cheer on.

“The cyclists will compete in an exciting short circuit bicycle race will provide the town with a great night’s entertainment.

“You are encouraged to come out and enjoy the evening’s event, but I would ask drivers to take extra care if having to cross roads for access during the times of closure.”
