Bann Valley cyclists’ £2k boost for Marie Curie

BANN Valley Road Club’s annual charity run in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care took place recently.

As expected, a very large number of cyclists turned out to support this extremely important charity.

The total number signing on to ride in the event was 180 and as a result of the generosity of the cycling community and the hard work done by Bann Valley members and associates the Club was able to present Mrs Ray Graham, Marie Curie fund raiser, with a cheque for £2000.

Credit and thanks to all who helped, Elle, Lawrence and George at sign on, the marshals who worked so hard at each junction, medics Donal and Neil, The Rose Cafe, all who provided food and last but not least the ladies who so professionally presented and served the refreshments.
