Bann Wheelers CC annual awards night

Bann Wheelers Cycling Club held their Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Saturday 28th November at The Lodge Hotel in Coleraine.

There was plenty to celebrate following an excellent year for the club and members.

The Club Chairperson Jane Millar welcomed everyone and gave an overview of how the club had grown in stature over the year and all the achievements that had occurred.

Jane thanked everyone involved in all areas of the club as without all his time and effort the club would not be what it is today.

There were many events hosted by the club this year which required a lot of effort by club members and Jane thanked all those concerned in organising the Club Races, Club BBQ, WhizzKids events, Charity Sportive, Spin classes, MTB Trailquests etc.

After dinner the following awards were presented by Charlie Wright, previous Club Chairman, as a thank you for all the hard work he put into his time within his Chairman’s role:

The celebrating continued after the presentations and dancing followed to the excellent Brown Sugar the rest of the evening.

Many thanks to Jonny Rankin for agreeing to entertain us.

The club are looking forward to next year and hoping we can mirror the success achieved throughout 2015.
