The weather was atrocious but that did not put off over 300 cyclists who turned out to support this year’s local nominated charities.

The chosen charities who will benefit from the day are as follows: Mountfern Adult Centre, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Community Rescue Service.

Bann Wheelers would like to thank everyone who contributed to such a professionally organised event.

From admin assistants, Saftey marshals, Police motorcycle riders, caterers, those who managed food stops, an array of others and the primary organisers Andy Bate and Robin Tosh.

A special thanks goes to this year’s sponsors Henderson Wholesale and Culbertsons, SPAR, Ballymena, who have come on board for the second year in a row, their support is greatly appreciated.

Every year the charity sportif gets bigger and better - we are already looking forward to 2015 and for better weather!
