Bann’s stars of the future shine at rugby festival
OVER 1,000 players from nine clubs, including three from Leinster, took part in Armagh Rugby Club’s Annual Festival of Mini Rugby, held in bright spring sunshine last Saturday.
Banbridge were represented at all six age groups from U6 to U11. The U10, U8 and U7 were particularly successful, winning all their games, with the U8s and U7s also picking up the Fair Play trophies.
This Saturday Bann are hosting a P6 (U10) Festival sponsored by Domino’s Pizza. There will be a practice for all the other groups in preparation for Portadown’s Festival on Saturday week.
