In the afternoon against Castleblayney, both Lisburn pairs made great starts. Chris nearly drove the second green, 290 yards up-hill, and Ryan pitched stone dead for a birdie three. This helped them establish a two hole lead by the turn. They won three of the next four holes to go five ahead.

Aaron & Josh were three ahead early on. After a comedy of errors, the par five ninth was halved in seven. They were lucky to halve the 10th, where their second shot rebounded off a wall back on to the green. When they left the 15th, they were two up. The first pair were four up after 16 and with five holes remaining Lisburn had an unassailable lead. They now meet Tandragee on their own course on July 17.
