Battling Priorians lose ontheir travels at Dungannon

Priorians suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat at Dungannon, on Saturday.

The visitors who started brightly raced into the lead when a quickly taken free to the top of the dee was passed to Emma Sproule who took the ball and swept the ball across the face of goal to Netty Wilson at the penalty spot and she confidently placed it in the back of the net.

This first goal drove the girls on with belief however the forward line of Dungannon caused Priorians some problems and soon after a goal was conceded after a strong hit.

Good linking play from Heather Manning, Karen Campbell and Emma Sproule led to some breaks but were denied by the Dungannon defense.

Despite some good keeping by Laura McDermott Dungannon did score just before the break to take the lead.

Despite battling hard in the second half the visitors did concede another two goals.
