Big break as Coleraine and District Snooker League begins this Thursday

THE Coppergate International Ballymoney & Coleraine District Snooker League kicked off the new season on Thursday 9 September, with 13 teams taking part this the biggest since the league started four years ago.

The Triangle Snooker Club have entered six teams this season and the first matches played were Triangle A against Triangle Destroyers and team captain Willie Eakin went head to head against Johnny White.

This match showed pre-season nerves and lack of practice as a lot of mistakes were made by both players and a draw was a fair result.
