One rink - and probably the most successful one to date this season - lost by a massive 45 shots and even though Lagan Valley won on two of the rinks they still went out at the second round stage of the NIBA Intermediate Cup to Antrim by 25 shots on Wednesday night.

Jim Spence had a night to forget and even a 25 shots win for Jeff Fawcus could not salvage the game.

Consolation for Fawcus was a “hot shot” at 19 ends and the rink included Jim Elliott, David Watters and Bob Lemon.
