Bike fans gear up for Roon tha Toon

THE 2010 Roon tha Toon was officially launched on Monday night at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney.

The organising committee of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club Northern Counties Section wish to thank Ballymoney Borough Council for providing the venue for this year's bike extravaganza.

Due to insurance difficulties it looked like the event might not take place.

However after discussions between the club and the council a suitable off road track was found at the Joey Dunlop Centre.

The track will be comparable in length with previous years but much safer.

As in previous years the public will be able to watch, hear and smell the classic motorcycles at no cost.

Roon tha Toon will take place on August 2 at 6.30pm.

Anyone wishing to enter should contact Stuart at Eurobikes on 028 70344049.

Special guest riders will be announced in the Times soon.
