Ballymoney Blaze were in top form as they defeated Coleraine University at Dalriada on Wednesday.

The first set started off with a few missed serves from Blaze, which allowed Coleraine to take an early lead. However, Blaze fought back in play with some great hits and blocks. Defensive play was strong from Teanna Mills, and with Rhian McCarroll finishing off each point with hits on the outside, Blaze took the first set by 25-8.

During the second set, Blaze took an early lead with the gap in points being quite significant, with strong serving from the Ballymoney side. The set was taken by Blaze 25-10. Going into the third set, Blaze were in a strong position to win. However, Coleraine fought hard, but Blaze finished strongly through some great passing from Isy Ross to win the set 25-13.
