Ewarts Bowling Club was the venue last weekend for the prestigious championships.

In the semi finals Megan and Chloe, who plays her club bowls for Pickie, narrowly defeated Jamie Lee Crosscaden (Limavady) and Megan Morrow (Ballycastle) while in the other semi final Erin Smith (Ballymena) and Terri Millar (Portdadown) easily claimed a place in the final when they beat Courtney Meneely (Ewarts) and Alana McKee (Ballywalter).

The Wilson/Watson combination controlled the final right from the start and they gradually pulled away from the Smith/Millar pairing to claim the title for the second successive year.

Winning this title means that Megan and Chloe qualify to take part in the British Isles Championships, however Megan will have to get a new partner for this competition as Chloe has already won the Irish Ladies Under 25 Singles title and is unable to play in both disciplines.
