Bowlers celebrate unprecedented league title ‘double’
THERE was double celebration at Ballymena Bowling Club last Saturday when Ballymena Seniors claimed the NIPGL Senior League Division 1 title for the first time since 2005 and also for Ballymena Juniors as they also regained the NIPGL Junior League Division 1 title.
Ballymena have won both the Senior and Juniors titles before but this was the first time in the club’s 100 Year+ history that they have won both titles in the same year.
