Belmont lead the league with 54.5 points from 11 games and Dunbarton are second with 54 points from 9 games and would appear to be favourites for the title, however both contneders have to visit the Old Ballymoney Road green so there is still plenty to play for.

The Seniors have also made it to the final of the NIPGL Cup where they will play Belmont but their interest in the IBA Senior Cup was short lived when they were surprisingly beaten at home by Ballywalter in the second round.

Ballymena Juniors are next in action at Downpatrick on July 22 in the NIPGL Junior League Divison 1. The Juniors face an uphill task to claim the league title this year.

They presently lie in second place, nine points behind Pickie who have played the same number of games and would be considered favourites for the title.

Ballymena Juniors however are still involved in both cup competitions. They play Old Bleach in the semi final of the NIPGL Junior Cup and they travel to Railway Union (Dublin) in the quarter final of the Irish Junior Cup so August will be a big month for the team.
