Bowls: Glengormley eye spot in Intermediate Cup quarter-final

Glengormley Bowling Club are in second-round Intermediate Cup action on Wednesday evening (June 3) as they welcome Warrenpoint to Carnmoney Road.

The Newtownabbey team kick off their NIBA last-16 match at 6:30pm and a place in the quarter-finals is at stake.

On Saturday, the NIBA Division 5 outfit are away to 1st Ballymacarrett (2pm), while Hazelbank-based Newtownabbey Bowling Club are off to St Stephen’s in a Division 3 clash.

In Private Greens League Division 1, Ulster Transport were set to take on Belmont on Tuesday evening before a trip to Pickie ‘A’ on Saturday.

Mossley, fresh from their comprehensive 7-0 (points) win over Hilden, will be aiming to make it back-to-back victories when they entertain Falls in Division 2.

In Division 5, Mossley ‘B’ are away to Ards ‘B’, and Ulster Transport ‘B’ host Cliftonville’ B’.
