Boxing Day fun at Judges Road

Two Youth fixtures kicking off at 10.30am followed by the Under 19’s at 11.30am.

The big game of the day starts at 2pm when Cityside lock horns with Waterside in what promises to be a lively encounter.

City of Derry Under 15’s and 17’s both play against Foyle College teams at 10.30am and the Derry sides will be captained by Sean O’Donnell and Isaiah Morris respectively.

The Club’s Under 19’s who are captained by Jordan Burns play Foyle College also at 11.30am.

There is a Novelty Rugby game at 1pm which sees the Womens Team take on the Golden Oldies in an encounter everyone is looking forward to.

The Womens Team are up and running again this season thanks to Coaches Rodney Balfour and Gary Milligan, they have already had a significant result recently.

There will be many Golden Oldies reputations on the line on Boxing Day as they come up against a winning combination.

The Senior Game on Boxing Day Kicks-off at 2pm and will see the Cityside team captained by Paddy Owens who is the current 3rd XV Captain.

The Waterside team will be captained by up and coming winger Ian Bratton.

Playing for the Cityside will be the likes of Eamonn O’Leary, Cathal Cregan and Kevin O’Connor, while Richard Gillen, Rodney Balfour and Paddy Blennerhassett will be playing for the Waterside.
