Academy stars shine
Four members of Carrickfergus Boxing Academy competed at the recent County Antrim Novices’ event.
Jack Adams and Mark Kelly made it to the semi-finals, while Jason Bennett was a finalist and Cheryl Johnston won the Co. Antrim title for 60kg.
Adams and Johnston are set to compete in the Ulsters on Friday (October 4) in the Dockers’ Club, Belfast.
