The Cushendall Road club will hold a gala night of dinner and a boxing show at Leighinmohr House Hotel on Saturday, May 9.

“This is the first dinner and boxing show we have put on in the town for eight years due to the economic down turn,” explains All Saints official Dermot Hamill.

“It’s back due to public demand as a number of local businessmen approached us about making it an annual end of season fixture on our Calendar as in years before.

“As with previous dinner shows, we’ve a fantastic line up of senior and Junior boxers who are matched against the best in Ulster.”

Experienced Senior boxers Vinney Esler Joel Scullion Enda Kennedy Glen Timperley and Polish recruit Karol Dlugosz will lead the charge accompanied by juniors Ricky Moore, Reece McDonnell, Tom Stokes, Anthony McAvoy, Tyler McMullan, and Emeka Onwuka.

The 10 man squad have trained extremely hard the past 10 weeks in preparation for the big Show.

“Tables are selling fast and there’s a limited number left but I’d advise people to get in touch with an All Saints committee member as soon as possible,” added Dermot.

* Meanwhile, All Saints’ Steven Donnelly suffered his first defeat in his last World Series Boxing contest last week, when he lost a split decision to Gabriel Maestre Perez of Venezuela.
