“He was very patient and controlled the fight against an aggressive American.

“He’s only with us a few weeks and it was a bit of a learning curve for myself and TJ as coaches as to what Tom has and what now we can work on in progressing him into what we class as the finished article.”

The 14 year old Stokes will be back in training this week as All Saints prepare their stable of fighters for the up an coming mid season fight night at The Adair Arms Hotel on November 28.

Tickets are now on sale and officials advise the public to get their tickets early as the event has sold out in recent years.

All the club’s up and coming Stars will be on show and it will be a night not to be missed.
