Irish and Co Antrim champions will enter the ring when Scorpion boxers lace up against competitors from All Saints, Ballymena; Springhill, Moneymore; Churchlands, Coleraine; Errigle, Garvagh; and Holy Family, Belfast.

Organiser and renowned local trainer Alan ‘Spike’ Martin said contests will range in weight from electrifying youngsters at 25kg right up to the big hitters at heavyweight.

He said: “We’ve been running boxing nights for years and are one of the most successful clubs in the area.

“People can expect good boxing and the sport always helps kids to focus, keep them fit and off the streets.”

Doors open at 7.30pm for the fight night and admission costs £6.
