The Belfast man will be the special guest at Coleraine West Community Centre on Sunday, May 29.

The event will see Churchlands boxers going head to head with an Ulster Select.

Sinclair, who took part in a total of 37 fights in his career, has a fine record with 24 knock outs, he’ll be passing on some of his tips to the local boxers ahead of their bouts.

The Churchlands Club, headed by coach Mickey Fleming congratulated Club member Matthew Boreland last week.

Matthew, a North Coast Integrated College pupil, has just returned from America, after being part of the Belfast Beltway Project.

Showing off his belt last Tuesday night, Matthew described the trip as ‘amazing’.

As part of the exchange trip Matthew and two other Ballymoney boxers, visited the gym of former world champion Lamont Peterson and also trained at Sugar Rae Leonard’s gym.

“It was a trip of a lifetime,” Matthew told Times Sport.

Matthew took part in one bout with an American teenager during the trip, he lost 2-1 in a split decision.

Doors open at 7.00 on fight night, with the first bout taking place at 7.30.

The club is indebted to local businesses for their continued support.

If you would like to sponsor a fight, contact any of the club members. Admission is £6, (£3.50 under 15)
