City duo battle in the ring
DERRY City’s Patrick ‘Fats’ McEleney stepped into the ring to take on the much fancied Ryan McBride, as part of Kevin Deery’s Red & White Collar Boxing event, in the Guildhall, on Friday evening.
The ‘Brawl in the Guildhall’, in association with The Alzheimer’s Society, saw current and former Deery team-mates Gerard Doherty, Dean Jarvis, David McDaid, Barry Molloy, Owen Morrison and Deery himself all get into the ring, as part of the City skipper’s testimonial events.
Fats in the blue corner entered the ring first, before the bigger and stronger McBride entered the red corner and Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin filmed the bout.
