The Banagher man is now effectively just one win away from a shot at the coveted IBF world middleweight belt, currently held by David Lemieux.

The local man will face off against Bahamanian boxer Tureano Johnson, whose only loss in 14 professional fights came at the hands of American Curtis Stevens.
