Local clubs, Scorpion Boxing and Churchland Golden Gloves will be taking on an England Select team at the Lodge Hotel on Friday 4th April.

This is the first ever International boxing tournament to be held in Coleraine and it promises to be a fantastic night. The Ballymoney club has combined with the Coleraine outfit last year with a very successful away trip to Germany, and it has been a very successful partnership bringing the two towns together.

Also it just proves that the standard of boxing in our local area has certainly got a lot better in recent years. From Scorpion their senior stars Paul Donnelly and Ulster champion Karol Dlugosz will be involved in cracking contests against ABA champions, brothers Seamus and Brian Mcalister, middleweight Lukasz Trela and Lewis Napier will all be in action against tough opponents.

From Coleraine Anton McLaughlin , Irish champion Lewis Dickey, Simon McElwee , Ryan and Dillon Doherty, Marty Boreland and Adam Deighan are on the bill that oozes quality and promises the boxing fans a real treat.

Doors for the event open at 7pm and everyone is welcome to come along.

You can pay at the door or can purchase your tickets at the Lodge Hotel. Prices are £15 for adults 1/2 price for under 16s.
