Corey did not have things his own way and probably went into the final a little dismissive of his inexperienced opponent. Corey did enough to win but had piles left in his arsenal which he will need to secure an Irish Final position.
McLeister said: “Corey is an unbelievable talent but at times can be a little lax.
“On the night we knew Corey would win but the young Belfast opponent gave him plenty think about.

“If Corey fights the way we know he can no-one will touch him but its up to him to give that performance.we wish boys the best of luck and are confident the two boys can go all the way.”
Also fighting last week was 12 year Chris Hagan and 13 year old Jimmy Fleck.
Jimmy put in a good performance fighting at 39kg for the first time but lost on points, Christopher fought his way to the final and claimed the silver medal.
